BU Creates Internship Opportunities For Its Student

Botho University strives to maintain relevance in the corporate and business world by encouraging our students to keep up with the latest innovators and businesses for professional value addition.

With this in mind, the university recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Choppies Enterprises Limited. Choppies is a multinational general merchandise retailer headquartered in Gaborone, Botswana. The group runs a centralized, in-house distribution network in Botswana, South Africa, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Kenya, Tanzania, Mozambique, and Namibia.

As part of this agreement, Choppies will be providing internships for Botho University students. The agreement which will last for the next 5 years, with a primary focus on enhancing employability, is vital in making Botho University more appealing to its target audience and also to prepare students before they finally hit the workspace.

Some of the more outstanding rewards are:

  • Obtaining priceless job exposure
  • Getting practical exposure in your chosen career field
  • Advancing and perfecting skills
